POSITION: Marketing Program Assistant

TIME: 10-20 hrs/week ending Dec. 18th

STIPEND: $8-$10/hour DOE

LOCATION: 203 F St. Suite A, Davis, California

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Implement a publicity project to promote local environmental nonprofit TREE Davis. Build your leadership, marketing and communication skills. Project components include:

• Marketing and publicity of TREE Davis programs
• Representing the organization at community events
• Designing and implementing a new or expanded marketing strategy

QUALIFICATIONS:

Interest in marketing, market research, management, business, communications or related field. Must be a success oriented, assertive, high achiever, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and professional presentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows. Excellent writing, verbal, time management and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact professionally with varied clientele is vital. Must be available Saturdays.

Established in 1992, TREE Davis is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation whose mission is to expand and enhance our urban forest by teaching the people of our community to plant and care for trees.
