POSITION DESCRIPTION -- Marketing Intern

TIME: 5-10 hrs/week, or hours as arranged

Compensation: Unpaid temporary position, Internship credits available   

LOCATION: 203 F St. Suite A, Davis, California  

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Implement publicity and marketing projects to promote local environmental nonprofit Tree Davis.  Build your leadership, marketing and communication skills.  Project components include:

•  Marketing and publicity of Tree Davis programs
• Representing the organization at community events
• Finding and completing applications for grant opportunities.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicant with an interest in marketing, nonprofits, management, business, communications or related field. Must be a success oriented, assertive, high achiever, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and professional presentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows. Excellent writing, verbal, time management and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact professionally with varied clientele is vital.

Established in 1992, Tree Davis is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation whose mission is to expand and enhance our urban forest by teaching the people of our community to plant and care for trees.
