Volunteer Opportunities
As a community-based organization we realize that our success depends largely on the generosity of others. By giving of your time and resources you enable us to serve the community better. Below are a few volunteer opportunities you might want to consider ... City of Davis Small Tree Program: We are holding educational workshops to train volunteers for this project. Once trained, these volunteers will help maintain our public trees. Activities include pruning, weeding, and planting. For more information, or to sign up for the training, call us at 758-7337. Adopt-a-Highway Project: Plans are in the works to plant the southeast corner of the Covell Boulevard/Highway 113 off-ramp this fall. Volunteers are needed to plant, mulch, and install irrigation. Grant Research: We need help locating and researching appropriate sources of grant funds. An ideal volunteer will be able to help with both library and internet searches. To volunteer for these or any other activity call TREE Davis at 758-7337.
