the Program
For over 30 years, Tree Davis has partnered with the City of Davis to plant and care for young city trees, helping to grow and sustain the community’s urban forest. Since 1992, Tree Davis has led efforts to expand the city’s tree canopy by engaging with the community and educating people of all ages about the benefits of trees. Tree planting and tree care are done by both dedicated staff and community volunteer. Building on a legacy that began in the 1960s, Tree Davis continues to provide an invaluable service to the Davis community by educating and empowering community members to c are for the urban forest for generations to come.
