Now Hiring: Cool Schools Yolo Education Assistant (West Sacramento & Woodland)
Tree Davis is looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a part-time Education Assistant for the Cool Schools Yolo program in West Sacramento and Woodland. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of transforming local school campuses by supporting tree planting initiatives, creating outdoor classrooms, and engaging students in hands-on learning about sustainability and urban greening.
As an Education Assistant, you will work directly with afterschool programs, facilitating lessons that grow students’ knowledge and appreciation for the environment. You’ll also help adapt our educational materials based on student feedback, support school planting events, and assist with grant reporting and community outreach. We are looking for candidates with experience working with children, strong communication skills, and a passion for environmental stewardship. Bilingual candidates and those with classroom experience are highly encouraged to apply.
